The short version
PTrack does not require an account. The iPhone app stores the records you create locally on your device. It does not use advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party software development kits, and the developer does not receive your in-app records.
Information you may enter
Depending on how you use PTrack, your local records may include:
- Your name, educational track, and hour goal.
- Facility names, clinical settings, and dates.
- Supervisor names, credentials, email addresses, and phone numbers.
- Shift times, breaks, notes, and reflection drafts.
- Supervisor attestations and finger-drawn signatures.
This information is stored for the features you choose to use. It is not transmitted to PTrack or its developer.
Where records are stored
The iPhone app saves records in its private application storage using iOS file protection. PTrack does not provide cloud sync or a developer-operated backup service. This website provides information about the iPhone app, privacy, and support; it does not store clinical records.
Sharing and PDF exports
PTrack creates a PDF only when you request one. If you export or share a PDF through iOS, you choose the destination. Once shared, the file is handled by the receiving person, app, or service under its own privacy practices.
Support emails
If you email PTrack Support, the developer receives the email address and message you voluntarily provide. That information is used only to answer your request and maintain necessary support records. Do not include patient information in a support message or screenshot.
Patient information
PTrack is an organizational tool, not an electronic medical record. Do not enter patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, contact details, photographs, or other identifying health information. PTrack is not offered as a HIPAA-compliant record system.
Retention and deletion
You control the records stored in PTrack. You may delete individual records or clear the app's data. Deleting the iPhone app removes its local app data. PDFs or other copies that you exported must be deleted separately from the places where you saved or shared them.
Website operation
These public information pages do not use a contact form, advertising cookies, or analytics. The hosting provider may process routine technical logs, such as an IP address and browser information, to deliver and secure the website.
Children's privacy
PTrack is intended for students and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if PTrack's features or privacy practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
